The selected individual will support ICBM programs. They will be responsible for conducting requirements development, systems trade studies/analyses, specification analysis and flow-down for multiple hardware/software items. They will plan and execute systems testing and verification. The responsibilities of this position will require the selected candidate to conduct:
- Decomposing of CONOPS into technical artifacts, system-level DODAF views, and performance metrics
- Development of architectural artifacts and design for major design reviews and working-groups.-
The ability to work on a diverse team, in a process driven and fast paced environment is an absolute necessity. Candidate must be able to manage many different tasks, prioritizing to completion. The candidate must be willing to work off hours to support time sensitive requirements during surge periods. Travel may be required to support off-site suppliers.
Candidate must have an understanding of Systems Engineering processes and tools such as DOORS. Candidates must be able to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and be able to analyze operational and organizational concepts, requirements, models, architectures, workflows and associated tasks, and doctrine.
Candidate must have familiarity with MS Office applications and excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidate must be able to prepare and present briefings for customer/management as well as effectively communicate between engineering functional IPT organizations.
This position requires a Secret level clearance so the selected candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
Prior experience with:
- System modeling and simulation frameworks are strongly desired
- Use and Administration of software configuration tools (GIT, Jira, etc.)
- Risk Management
- System Modeling tools (Rhapsody, Magic Draw, etc.)
