Systems Engineer

This position is with the Systems Engineering team in Lockheed Martin's historic Skunk Works. Responsible for some of history's greatest aircraft, we continue to innovate today. The candidate will be part of a fast paced, dynamic environment exploring state of the art technical solutions across a wide range of projects.

Applicant will develop a set of requirements for a system: be able to decompose the mission-level requirements into system level requirements and element-level requirements, assess the requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility and verifiability, validate that they satisfy the customer's capability needs and ensure that they comply with internal and external standards or regulatory requirements.

The candidate will write and release ADP Program/Project requirements documents, specifications and subsystem requirement allocations documents. Will have the ability to perform risk assessments, trade studies, system architecture development and develop Supplier Statements of Work (SOWs).

As part of the Systems Engineering team, the successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the project life cycle from proposal to disposal, will interface with multiple disciplines, program management and customers to help drive to a complete solution.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance or higher level as needed

Basic Qualifications
Engineering, technical or scientific degree from an accredited college.
