The Challenge:
The System Security Software Engineer develops secure FPGA/CPLD designs using appropriate toolsets, including interface simulations and sensor functionality. Works with domain experts and military documentation to define requirements. Designs, simulates, and integrates system components using C/C++. Document design and development activities. Provides technical expertise in the development, design and deployment of system security solutions used in military applications.
Basic Qualifications:
With qualifications and expertise in the following, you will thrive!

-BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent.

-Minimum 2 years of related experience in the following activities: Experience in Digital Signal Processing theory, FPGA/CPLD design using C/C++ programming and Simulation tools such as MATLAB or ModelSim.

-Strong communication and organization skills.

-The ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level.
Desired Skills:
-Secure FPGA/CPLD design, C++ Object Oriented Design, C or assembly programming, Digital Circuits, Digital Signal Processing, MATLAB. Experience with Linux OE including Kernel development. Secure hardware development experience and/or Cybersecurity experience.
