Sustainment Engineer Stf

Description: Reliability, Maintainability and Supportability (RM&S) lead engineer for an Advanced Development Programs (ADP) Program. The candidate will perform RM&S analysis methods, including reliability predictions, failure mode analysis, maintainability predictions (mean time to repair, crew size), maintenance task analysis, prognostics, diagnostics, systems health, scheduled maintenance, logistics footprint and support equipment requirements.

The applicant will perform trade studies to establish system, segment, and equipment RM&S requirements, assess their performance, and influence the design. The applicant will support various ADP program proposal activities.

Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position requires a Secret Security Clearance with an investigation within the last five (5) years.
Desired Skills: Experience with US Air Force Maintenance Metrics and Planning systems or equivalent
Trade studies in an academic environment or actual related experience or equivalent (for redesign or cost benefit analysis)

Experience with government data sources such as Integrated Maintenance Data Systems (IMDs) or Reliability Maintenance Information System (REMIS) or equivalent

Non mission capable (NMC) for parts and non-mission cable for maintenance

U-2 specific aircraft knowledge.

Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) databases or equivalent

Working knowledge of Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)'s.

Understanding of how to perform a Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA).

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with Maintenance Metrics, Requirements, and Logistics or Planning systems.

This position requires a Secret Security Clearance with an investigation within the last five (5) years.
