Sustainment Engineer - Orlando Sniper/LANTIRN

Description:The employee will serve as a Sustainment Engineer Asc reporting to the Fixed Wing Sniper/LANTIRN programs Logistics & Sustainment Engineering (LSE) team responsible for:
- All Sniper/LANTIRN Shipping and Receiving in and out of Orlando ensuring items are packaged and shipped per contract or Military Specifications.
- Conducting annual inventories on Company and Government Property ensuring appropriate record keeping and acceptance of delivered hardware.
- Preparing shippers utilizing the Material Movement System, ensuring accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of reports and records.
- Updating Depot Repair Forms (DRFs) within the Asset Management System (AMS) with latest repairs status, location and appropriate work instructions/documentation.

- Updating the inventory database, Live Supply, with all receipt and issue transactions ensuring accurate record keeping.
- Contract compliance monitoring, as part of the Hardware Management Team.
- Must be able to set priorities, respond to direction quickly, efficiently, and with focus on attention to detail.
- Generate and interpret different reports both on a routine and "ad hoc" basis.
- Updates weekly/monthly status charts and metrics to support senior level meetings and reviews.
- Ability to interface with management and provide status on active repairs and expected completion dates.
- Coordinating work scope across more than 25 customers (United States Air Force, Foreign Military Sales, and Direct Commercial Sales) with unique requirements.
- Working across multiple contract types to include Firm Fixed Price, Time and Material, and Test and Evaluation contracts and internal & external USG/International customers.
- Working in an environment which requires interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.
- Work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin Fixed Wing Target Depot at Robins, AFB and the Orlando based repair operations team to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with program POCs to provide timely status which requires interfacing with multiple functional groups to achieve completion of sustainment activities.
- Complying with all training requirements necessary for the successful completion of assigned duties.
- Implementing and supporting Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience.
- Must be capable of lifting 35 lbs.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in Inventory Management, Warehousing, Shipping and Receiving.
• Basic knowledge of Asset Management System (AMS) and/or an inventory management system.
• Basic understanding of repair parts management, depot repair processes and sustainment principles.
• Awareness and/or experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Strong technical skills and customer interface skills.
• Self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks and interface well with other Program disciplines.
• Agile thinker with an ability to execute priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Working first-hand knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
