Subcontract Administrator - Entry Level

Description: Typical responsibilities include cost/price analysis, negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interface with functional organizations and supplier management.
Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
Position will negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, and/or modifications to subcontracts. Salary $41,000.00 to $54,500.00+ depending upon skills and experience.
Responsibilities include preparing bid packages, conducting bidders' conferences, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating provisions, selecting subcontractors, and writing awards.
This assignment area will develop strategies and integration methodologies to ensure the optimized flow of parts and materials from suppliers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills: Prior experience in a related industry preferred.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively.
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
Demonstrated experience with negotiating skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience in a manufacturing supply chain environment.
Proven experience with SAP and other MRP systems
Experience with FAR/DFAR requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related business discipline.
