Subcontract Administrator Asc

Description: Sourcing and contract administration of Build-to-Print composite assemblies within a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system and Systems Applications and Processes (SAP) system supporting multiple aircraft platforms. Job duties include cost/price analysis, negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interface with functional organizations and supplier management. Coordinate production, procurement and inventory supply conditions across various internal and external functional organizations to align multi-level and multi-plant supply to demand schedules. Will mentor less experienced procurement professionals. Some travel may be required.
Desired Skills: • Knowledge of procurement systems (i.e. SAP-Systems Applications & Processes or similar ERP system)
• Background /knowledge supplier management skills
• Ability to analyze problems and determine resolution, problem solving skills
• Ability to work multiple tasks and manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated business based decision making
• Ability to work outside of normal shift to support business needs
• Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Developed knowledge of supplier source selection processes, purchase order placement and administration
• Knowledge of Truth in Negotiations (TINA) procurements
• Experience in build-to-print or build to specification procurement.
• Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
• Experience in long term agreement (LTA) contracting methodologies
• Experience with min/max or vendor managed inventory systems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience or knowledge or coursework with Supply Chain/Procurement/Buying or Logistics
