Perform subcontract management duties in support of procurement of parts and services for LCS Sustainment activities. Proactively manage the complete lifecycle for the procurement of assigned items from identification of initial need, solicitation and review of offers, price analysis, order placement, delivery status and track SDRLs (Subcontract Data Required Line Items) for assigned subcontracts through acceptance.
Supports Subcontract Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for assigned subcontracts. Typical IPT includes the SPM, Engineering, and QA representatives, and utilizes representatives from Planning, Prod Ops, Quality, Systems Integration, CDM and other functional representatives as required.
Successful candidate must be a self-starter, goal oriented and able to interact with various program planning and subcontract personnel to ensure desired results. Successful candidate will be able to resolve supplier performance issues, resolve internal programmatic issues that may affect supplier performance, and remedy accounts payable /invoicing issues.
Bachelors degree from in in Supply Chain Management from an accredited college or in a related discipline. Minimum 3.0 GPA
Knowledge of FAR and DFAR
Knowledge of SAP Procurement Software.
Knowledge of different Service Contract types
Strong Communication Skills
Knowledge of one or more of the following: contract/subcontract administration, cost and pricing, program control, management of schedules, acquisition, procurement, 02 legal contracts. Ability to apply knowledge to assist in Subcontracts administration and other areas of the supply chain efforts. Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers and Program management. Accuracy and attention to details. Ability to provide accurate and timely status and manage multiple efforts at the same time. Must be a team player and able to adapt to changing environment and critical schedule deadlines.
