Strategic Planner Senior Staff
Description: Lead the Department of Navy (DoN) activities for the Program Strategy Teams within the Strategic Studies Group.
Develop and deploy strategy and advocacy material for Lockheed Martin (LM) Aeronautics products.
Develop and/or support strategies for domestic and international customers/organizations.
Formulate market development strategies.
Identify, analyze and develop requirements for LM Aeronautics platforms.
Lead or support Program Strategies studies and guide analysis efforts. Develop and maintain close relationships and intimacy with US Navy/Marine Corps leadership and customers to understand and better meet DoN needs.
This position will require occasional travel both Domestic and International.
Must be able to travel, as this role requires a moderate amount of domestic and international travel to present strategies.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills: •Must possess the ability to professionally interface with
and provide briefings to civilian government,
Department of Defense and industry leaders
•US Navy Top Gun or MAWTS graduate Military School of
Advanced Studies graduate
•Joint Staff, OPNAV Staff and/or OSD staff experience
•Skilled in research and at presenting compelling and
strategic thoughts in writing and through PowerPoint
•Visionary strategic thinking is highly desired
•Bachelors degree or above (Master's degree desired)
•Experience conducting strategic development
•Must have experience working with the of Department of
Navy equipment, organization and processes
• Operational fighter experience with a minimum of 10
years experience in the military
•Extensive operational military aviation background to
include: Joint and Coalition operations
•Experience with basic engineering principles and
•Experience interfacing with international
