Description:Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineering professional candidate to join our team based out of King of Prussia, PA. This position is in the C4ISR market segment supporting United States Air Force and Navy programs specializing in software and systems engineering under the Weapons Platform Integration organization.
This position requires a candidate with strong communication skills who excels in building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in support of the United States Air Force Operational Real-time Combat Analysis (ORCA) program. The candidate will be the primary liaison between the Lockheed Martin ORCA program and the operational community for this software, the Standoff Munitions Application Center (SMAC) based out of Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. The candidate will develop and lead consistent operational user business rhythms. Responsibilities will include becoming an expert with the ORCA software application, shaping and prioritizing the feature/capability backlog, designing new features based on feedback from operations, and troubleshooting operational issues with the software.
Additionally, candidate may be contributing to various software and system engineering documents requiring strong technical writing skills and an understanding of system and software engineering principles. Candidate will be involved in full lifecycle design of a data management solution for the Government, from feature development and planning through full implementation, test & integration, deployment and O&M. Candidate must be able to work within an agile team environment under supervision from technical leadership and program management. Work location will be in Valley Forge, PA. Applicants selected must hold a government security clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. After COVID-19 travel restrictions have lifted, candidate will be required to travel to support program objectives at operational locations.
