Sr. Systems Engineer

Description: This position is with our historic ADP Skunk Works, located in Palmdale, CA. The Skunk Works is responsible for some of the most revolutionary aircraft in history and we continue to advance the state of the art in technology today. We are looking for an experienced systems engineer with a strong background in systems architecture to support an exciting new effort.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience across the spectrum of systems engineering activities. Will generate, decompose, track and verify requirements, perform risk assessments, perform trade studies, write SOWs (statement of work) and supplier specifications, perform technical planning, and perform requirements verification. The candidate should have extensive experience working across IPTs and disciplines to develop an overall systems architecture. Experience generating ICDs and a background with DODAF are also highly desired. The ideal candidate is an emerging leader and veteran in systems engineering, prepared to run portions of the effort and think creatively and individually.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance to start.
Desired Skills: Experience with Rhapsody, DOORS, Visio and Teamcenter
Experience with DODAF
Experience using SysML
Background working with vendors and/or subcontractors
Proposal, SOW, BoE, WBS support
Bachelors degree in an engineering, scientific or technical discipline
Experience with the Systems Engineering process
Experience developing a Systems Architecture
