Software Systems Engineer (early career)
Description: The Software Systems Engineer will report to the WSE System Simulation manager and work in a team environment supporting the development of the THAAD End-to-End Simulation (ETESIM) software. The Software Systems Engineer will be responsible for the development of THAAD weapon system software models, integration of individual THAAD component models into ETESIM, coordination of code defects with system components, updating the software ETESIM Software User's Manual (SUM), Software Version Description document (SVD), and any other ETESIM software related documentation.
Skills for the Software Systems Engineer include: C/C++, systems engineering, modeling and simulation, Fortran, Ada, analysis, Unix, Linux, Secret clearance.
Desired Skills: • Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience with Modeling and Simulation software development
• Communication Skills
• Work in a team environment
• Open GL
• Unix/Linux scripting
• Active Secret clearance
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or other related program degree from an accredited college/university
- Programming Language (i.e., C/C++, Ada, Fortran, etc.)
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance
