Software Systems Architect Associate

This individual will perform in a preliminary technical analysis role as a software discloser, executing analysis and preliminary assessments using established tools and processes on open source and other third party software. In doing so the successful candidate will determine what types of licensing, copyrights and other attributions are contained within the software package and make initial recommendations to the assessor regarding overall suitability for use within Lockheed Martin Aeronautics with respect to intellectual property (IP). Recommendations concerning suitability, and risk potential will be developed under the guidance of the team lead and other members. This individual will be expected to work closely with the others in the team to learn the processes and tools and may be called upon to perform business analysis tasks with the customer to understand their requirements. Additional opportunities exist for developing and modifying software tools used in performing daily tasks.

Basic Qualifications
BS and/or MS in: Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.

Desired skills
This individual must be a self-starter who has a combination of education and ability to quickly grasp the techniques of accomplishing this detailed analysis task and has demonstrated team-working skills to be able to effectively work with others across both business functions and programs to accomplish the requested assessments. Related software development experience as an intern, or other jobs. Experience in eliciting customer business requirements and analysis of the requirements to develop derived computer hardware or software systems requirements would be a benefit
