Software Integration Requirements and Planning Engineer, F-16 Program

Description:Embedded within the Ogden Air Logistic Complex software maintenance group that develops and designs F-16 aircraft specific software for the aircraft Operational Flight Program (OFP) and/or sub-system flight computers. Provide on-site technical support in the development of aircraft OFPs. Develops subsystem and system level requirements, monitor software implementation, and coordinate processes with flight test and operational F-16 units.

Interpret and decompose aircraft and weapons requirements to develop manual and automated tests. Coordinate and communicate with software test team members to plan and execute tests across the spectrum of the development processes. Document findings and results in accordance with established development and configuration management processes.

This position may require occasional travel.

Must be a US Citizen; must be able to obtain a government Secret Security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Masters Degree in systems engineering, test engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, or another related technical field.

Software System troubleshooting skills and experience.

Microsoft Office applications familiarity (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aviation flight experience

Software and hardware integration testing experience

Aircraft avionics knowledge
