Software Engineer Senior

Description: Serve as a Ground Systems Software Development Engineer at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center where LM Commands & Controls the Hubble Space Telescope. Apply processes, procedures and software knowledge to design, develop, document, test, debug and install software for Hubble operations control center ground system hardware, software and tool releases. Create operating instructions for releases, analyze anomalies after software becomes operational and provide 24x7 rotational on call support.
Desired Skills: Experience with: Windows 10; Oracle; satellite ground systems; real-time systems; NASA GSFC; and Systems Test.
Experience in more than one of the following: Java Standard Edition; C/C++; TCL; Shell scripting (bash, csh, ksh, sh); Solaris (Unix/Linux); Windows; Oracle/SQL database; HTML; Web design; Windows mobile application development; on call support.
