Software Engineer - real-time embedded Grand Prairie

Description: The best candidate will have at least 2 years experience in mathematical algorithm development and scientific modeling. They will be capable of using Matlab/Simulink and be comfortable working in Agile development environments.

The best candidate will have at least 2 years experience with C/C++ and traditional development tools for source code configuration management, problem change request management, and troubleshooting. They will be familiar with Linux OS particularly the Red Hat distribution

The software candidate will work with Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Test, and Product Support engineers to design a solution to an advanced problem space with cutting-edge technologies and concepts.
Desired Skills: It is desired that the candidate be capable of reading Fortran and Ada. It is desired that the candidate have experience working with VxWorks OS. It is desired that the candidate be proficient in a modern scripting language like Python.
