Simulation Engineer

Description: The Sikorsky Aircraft Real-time Simulation team is seeking a software developer with experience in C++. The candidate will participate in the entire development life cycle including requirements, design, implementation, integration, installation and test. Typical tasks include development to interface real aircraft components to our simulation environment; supporting pilot evaluations of aircraft systems; developing simulated versions of aircraft subsystems; rehosting aircraft software into the simulation environment.
Desired Skills: • Experience developing OpenGL applications
• Experience programming in the Linux environment
• Experience with shell scripting
• Experience with perl scripting
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or Computer Engineering
• 0-3+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience in programming languages C and C++
