Senior Systems Engineer

Our APEX team in Boulder Colorado is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer to augment our Agile Team in support of our HEMI Program. HEMI is Lockheed Martin's Open Framework solution that touches every step of the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) processing chain. Our HEMI solutions supports our programs, research and development (R&D) efforts and new business pursuits.

As a member of a high-performing team you must be passionate about your trade, focused on mission system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities. This position involves interacting with stakeholders to define requirements, stories, and interfaces. Candidates will work with the team to develop high-level technical solutions, size and prioritize work, as well as document and verify work completion. Candidates should expect to lead the team through architecture, design and test of all feature in accordance with the Apex Agile release process and iteration schedule.

This position is located in our beautiful Boulder, Colorado location which has numerous amenities such as a fitness center, daily rotating food trucks, and a collaborative and modern agile workspace.

Desired Skills: Active Secret, TS/SCI clearance or eligibility for reinstatement.

Experience with Confluence, JIRA and Gliffy.

Experience architecting, accrediting and supporting AWS based systems.

Experience writing training documentation, system/user manuals and/or Interface Control Documents (ICDs).

Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team.

Experience with CI/CD tools and/or DevOps.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an engineering or scientific discipline.

Strong systems engineering knowledge including requirements analysis, systems modeling, analysis and design.

Experience developing and delivering documentation.

Mission Data Processing Experience.

Must have strong teamwork skills.

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

TS/SCI eligibility.
