Senior Reliability Engineer / FRACAS / FMECA / Orlando, FL
Description: -Perform Reliability modeling, Stress Analysis Predictions and physics of failure analyses.
-Participate in FRB activities and maintain the FRACAS database.
-Develop, coordinate and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts to include Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) per MIL-STD-1629.
-Develop test plans, conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and perform Reliability testing.

Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1 and ¼ hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
Desired Skills: •Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding.
•Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting.
•System and subsystem test experience to include Test Plan development, completing HALT and accelerated aging testing.
•Experience using WQS/RELEX.
•Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software.
•Must be a US Citizen and possess Active Department of Defense Secret clearance with an investigation (or re-investigation) within 6 years.
•Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an Engineering Field.
•Experience identifying Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions.
•Perform Failure Mode and Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
•Technical engineering background.
•Understanding of reliability, modeling concepts and reliability tools (e.g. Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS)/RELEX).
•Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations.
•An analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
•Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft suite of applications.
•People skills: assertive, people orientated, motivated, ability to multi-task, self-starter.
•Able to work with all types of disciplines (management, production, engineering, etc.)
