Senior Production Manager
Description: Manage the functional execution of the RF Production and Operations for multiple contract cost accounts, responsible for touch labor and support budgets, delivery schedules and quality performance. This position also includes the full product team coverage from kits to floor, assembly and test and product delivery to ATLO. Focus on product and delivery with the manufacturing supply chain. Will perform capacity planning and develop hiring plans for multiple programs. Improve product flow between operations through process improvements. Thicken deliverables and offerings to enhance the business plan to grow the organization. Pursue, identify and implement new advanced manufacturing processes and equipment for future production flows including RF automation. Implement and manage Continuous Improvement Systems to improve production efficiencies, drive down costs and reduce span times. Improve organizational effectiveness through team empowerment and developing talent pipelines. Manage by demonstration of Full Spectrum Leadership skills and behaviors.
Desired Skills: LM21 Green or Black Belt (or equivalent) trained. Knowledge of SAP and POD processes. Proficiency in MS Office applications (WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.)
Direct experience relating to RF Assembly and RF micro assembly of Space Flight RF components and systems such as hybrids, LNAs, SSPAs, TWTAs, Converters and modulators/demodulators for commercial and government programs.
Leadership experience including staffing, forecasting, training and capacity planning for multiple programs.
RF manufacturing experience.
CAM experience in estimating and planning cost account milestones.
5 years integrated scheduling experience.
Must have ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously and develop new and novel manufacturing processes and flows to improve production costs.
Must be knowledgeable of automation and how it can be implemented in RF flows.
Demonstrated Leadership capabilities utilizing Full Spectrum Leadership skills and behaviors.
Must have experience with continuous improvement systems and their successful implementations.
Demonstrate a consistent record of High performance as a leader with the ability to accept responsibility, exercise authority and be held accountable for assigned tasks.
