The Mission & Operations Analysis team is seeking creative and dynamic professionals. Who can focus on defining a holistic view of customer mission needs to quantify and communicate the mission efficiency, the cost benefits and value offered by Sikorsky.

Current focus areas includes Future Vertical Lift (FVL) rotorcraft platforms including Future Attack and Reconnaissance (FARA) and Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), SH-60S/R Maritime Strike, BLACK HAWK Modernization, FIRE HAWK, the CH-53K, the S-92, S-76, and other Sikorsky future program opportunities as assigned.

The desired candidate will have strong analytical skills and demonstrate 1) Knowledge of customer helicopter requirements & future operational needs 2) Modeling and Simulation skills including AFSIM or other analytic and modeling experience 3) Organization talent, initiative, team leadership and customer communication abilities.

The role includes the use and development of tools such as constructive simulations and human-in-the loop experiments as required to quantify our value proposition. This involves collaboration with our external customer requirements development communities at Ft. Rucker, Huntsville, Patuxent River, Quantico, the Pentagon, and non-DoD, commercial customers.

Crafting new concepts of operations (CONOPS), mission scenarios, measures of effectiveness, and other metrics to quantify and demonstrate key capabilities to customers.

Defining key trade studies and modeling efforts to show the value of mission performance, survivability, mission systems efficiency, levels of autonomy, life cycle costs, and maintainability.

Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team including program management, sophisticated system concepts, special projects, commercial and military business development, and external customers.

The candidate will work closely with program management, technical leadership, and business development functions. The role also often requires cross LM collaboration with other divisions. The role requires understanding and modeling competitor solutions to provide focus on how to best differentiate our services.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or operations research required; master's or doctoral degree preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Background in and/or knowledge of helicopter operations including US military tactics and missions
• Experience in operations research/operations analysis, design of experiments and statistical methods.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with AFSIM or other constructive simulation or aviation centric analytic experience.
• Knowledge of new computer/scripting languages as needed to integrate simulation model output to customer-focused analysis and display tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills
