RF Engineer Associate

Description:--Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program--

The successful applicant will perform mechanical design of electromagnetic/RF components, antennas, radomes, support structures, flight qualified hardware, composite/metallic component/structures, full scale RCS/RF test fixtures, and will provide support for other classified activities. The candidate is not expected to be an expert, but should have general knowledge in the fields of mechanical design, environmental testing, stress, thermal, composites and materials. The successful candidate must have previous CAD experience, CATIA V5 experience preferred but not required. Experience with mechanical design of electromagnetic/RF components, electrical packaging, power system layout and a fundamental understanding of EM theories are highly desirable. Experiences in stress and thermal analysis is a plus.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.  This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
--Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in systems engineering, aeronautical/aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or another related technical discipline.

--Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
Desired Skills:
--CATIA V5 or equivalent
--EM/RF mechanical design experience
--Thermal/stress analysis experience
--General knowledge in fundamental EM theories
