The Communications Operations Analysis team is searching for a Systems Architect with experience in Modeling, Simulation and Analysis.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Perform Modeling, Simulation and Analysis studies

- Communications Architecture studies

- Present findings assessing enterprise performance under a variety of configuration options to drive decision making

US Citizenship is required.

A current security clearance is not a prerequisite to start, but the position will ultimately require a high level security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Modeling, simulation and analysis experience
Desired Skills:
• Antenna analysis experience with GDA, MBA or ESA analysis at a system level. Ability to leverage the antenna design to assess system performance.
• Digital processor experience with AEHF, PTS, digital beam forming. Experience with adaptive beamforming. Experience using tools to size the processor based on program requirements (capacity, beams, spectrum/channel groups), etc.
• Link budget analysis particularly system level assessments with large numbers of requirements. Experience at LEO and GEO.
• Parametric payload system analysis; i.e., experience with trading multiple payload design parameters (antennas, beam size, beams, etc.) and architecture parameters (LEO v. GEO) to optimize overall architecture performance. Also experience trading space vs. ground capabilities to optimize overall architecture.
• Top level understanding of existing and planned programs: WGS, AEHF, PTS, MUOS, ESS, Commercial (HTS, INMARSAT, INTELSAT,...), etc.
• Experience with modeling waveform performance XDR+, PTW, DVB, CDMA. Experience modeling jammer impacts on waveforms.
• Non-SATCOM military communications experience: Link-16, MADL, IFDL, VHF/UHF.
• Understanding of current ground system capabilities (terminals, modems, etc.)
