Research Scientist Staff

Description: The candidate will develop software used to design, analyze, predict, test, and integrate Radar Cross Section (RCS) technologies. Programming skills and experience in at least two of the following: FORTRAN, Java, JavaScript, Python, C++, Visual Studio, and MATLAB are desired. The candidate shall perform and coordinate advanced technology efforts in conjunction with other disciplines in a group environment. Previous experience with scientific software development, High Performance Computing (HPC), programming for parallel processing environments, software de-bugging, and associated computing architectures is strongly desired. The candidate must have previous Computational Electromagnetic software development experience, experience compiling codes for HPC's, and experience with deploying software to HPC platforms.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills: • Educational background in computational electromagnetics, linear algebra, or prior experience in CEM.
• Experience leading teams and interfacing with internal and external customers.
• Experience in leading code development teams and basic project management skill sets desired.
• Experience writing proposals.
• Current/Active DoD Clearance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or Physics discipline(s).
• Experience optimizing codes for use on High Performance Computers (HPC).
