Research Scientist Senior
Description: The candidate will support efforts in Radio Frequency (RF) Low Observable (LO) technologies, predictive analysis, signature optimization, prototyping, RCS measurements, and flight test research activities. The candidate must have experience using Computational Electromagnetic Modeling (CEM) tools such as MM3D, SENTRi, XPatch or others to predict and optimize the scattering of complex targets. The candidate should have RCS test range experience and LO fabrication experience. Tasking will require coordination with other vehicle disciplines and as a result, clear communication skills are an absolute necessity. The candidate should have good presentation skills and be able to discuss technical project details appropriately with management and customer representatives.
Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access. A Top Secret Clearance Security Clearance is needed and a clearance investigation must have been conducted within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills: • Masters degree or higher in the fields of engineering or physics
• Experience with proposal development and new business puruits
• Bachelor's degree in the fields of engineering or physics
• Experience with the design, fabrication, testing, and fielding of advanced LO systems
• Experience in Computational Electromagnetic Modeling (CEM) tools
