Proposal Graphic Artist

Description: Combines art and technology to create visually communicative designs and themes that convey ideas, mood, information and vision in the support of New Business Proposals.

The art is very technical in nature, so need someone who has a technical understanding.

Translates facts and features of subject material into cost-effective graphics that convey ideas and information in support of winning new business.

May create graphic presentations (that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions).

May create artwork used in websites, animations or interactive media.

May also have responsibility or input on reproduction and printing processes through in-house resources or outside vendors to ensure quality standards comply with client's/printer technical specifications.

Portfolio required: Should demonstrate solid graphic design capabilities, understanding color, fonts and print design. This position may require occasional travel.

This position requires overtime to meet customer deadlines.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills: Technical illustration. Existing knowledge of proposal graphics and art/text integration using MS Word, and miscellaneous other graphics related software.

Intermediate knowledge and skills using Mac-based hardware and software, including OS X.

Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment with multiple deadlines and be willing to work overtime as needed to support project completion.
Bachelors Degree (BFA or BA) in art-related field.

Portfolio required.

Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign).

Microsoft Office and other graphics-related software.
