Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Historian/Project Manager/Planner to support History Investigation, Reporting, and Organization for a position in Fayetteville, NC.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE

Recording and documenting recent organizational history

Recording and documenting organizational growth and change

Development of a comprehensive, targeted, investigation and formal written report to capture extensive organizational history

Cataloguing and organization using modern technical tools (SharePoint, Confluence, OneDrive, etc.) of historical files, photos, videos, reports, objects, and materials.

Capturing and documenting operations and lessons learned

Capturing and documenting organizational events, changes, and accomplishments

Recording and documenting Command team, leaders, and subject matter expert post-deployment after action reviews and lessons learned

Proactive outreach with veteran unit members , and current unit members to accurately capture unit history

Recording and documenting specified capability developments

Investigation, interviewing, capturing, and producing historical reports for executive and educational purposes

Consolidate, enumerate, and reorganize the history, documents, and artifacts that have been captured using modern technical tools

Capturing and producing relevant data in a form that meets the organization's format and storage requirements

Basic Qualifications:
A Master's degree or 6 years of commensurate work experience, and Graduate level research, writing, and verbal communication skills

Excellent interviewing, documenting, and research skills for historical purposes

Strong skills and comfort using modern technology to catalog and organize historical information and files

Familiarity with data formats, structures, and indexing for query/search purposes

Above Average Knowledge and Understanding of:
- US Special Operations enterprise, relationships, and environments
- Foreign special operations organizations, relationships, and environments
- Special Operations combat tactics, techniques and procedures

Must have an active Top Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
Former SOF experience preferred
