Project Management & Planning Operations Representative
Description: This position will serve as the F-22 Palmdale Production Operations Material Control Account Manager (CAM) within the F-22 ADP Palmdale Production Operations Group. This role will require the selected candidate to perform a myriad of tasks associated with managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance of subcontracted scope. The position will require SME a knowledge of composite fabrication, assembly and coating techniques/processes to assist management team in Palmdale F-22 success. Will use knowledge and experience to help identify, resolve and implement corrective actions, along continuous improvements to achieve continuous improvement. Will review and advise management on technical manufacturing issues related the Palmdale F-22 product build.
The responsibilities associated with this position includes performing cost/schedule variance analyses, developing monthly estimate at complete (EAC) assessments, and implementing scope changes.
Additional responsibilities for this position includes process automation/improvement initiatives, cost corrections, and other special projects as required. Will establish and lead the Earned Value tempo for the organization, inclusive of daily/weekly/monthly shop floor task management. This includes performing detail cost and schedule variance analysis and ensure root cause is defined and corrective action is implemented in a timely manner. Prepares and distributes cost and schedule performance metrics. Prepares monthly comprehensive Earned Value Management System (EVMS) presentations to include: detail cost and schedule variance analysis, definition of performance impacts, and corrective action efforts. Develop monthly and comprehensive EAC's.
In this role you will interface with numerous functions across the F-22 program including Program Finance, Program Scheduling, MRP Planning, Supply Chain Accounting, Business Management, and Program Management. Individual will provide operational direction to the Palmdale F-22 build team. Will lead leadership reviews and will also support Earned Value reviews at all levels of management and customers.
Desired Skills: Experience as a CAM or supporting CAMs
Basic Qualifications should include extensive knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing techniques and processes. Candidate needs significant experience in composite fabrication and assembly manufacturing.
Earned Value Management experience (EVMS)
Proficient in SAP
Strong coordination, integration, and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-domain team
