Project Management and Planning Operations Rep

Description:Drives team execution and manages key interdependencies between geographically dispersed teams. Responsible for cost and schedule integrity and assists IPT lead in mitigating technical, cost, and schedule issues as they arise. Utilize Microsoft Project schedules to proactively promote communication across multiple functions through daily coordination meetings. Supports and communicates in program management reviews and customer meetings for one of the program's key subsystems.
Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. Supports and participates in negotiations with customer. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have active TS/SCI w/ Poly SP to be considered for this opening
Previous Project Planning experience
Proven ability in utilizing MS Project and MS Excel for scheduling and analysis
Proven experience managing scope, cost, and schedule
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
Basic understanding of engineering and facilities work flows
Desired Skills:
Firm Understanding of Earned Value and software tools to support Earned Value
Firm understanding of Microsoft Project and Project Server integration.
Experience managing a detailed Integrated Master Schedules
Self-Starter and motivated to contribute to process improvements
Knowledge of Labor Analysis
Experienced in industrial and manufacturing engineering in addition to facilities operations
Root Cause and Corrective Action experience and mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects within given scope and deadlines
