Project Engineer Associate-Entry Level
Description: This position is for a Project Engineer Associate with Lockheed Martin's F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program in the F-35 Engineering Project Office (EPO). The candidate will join the EPO to support various Development and Operations projects, including the development of engineering proposals and the development technical solutions. Responsibilities include examination of gaps, assessment and coordination of engineering impacts from new or modified scope, coordination of technical documentation and associated estimates, developing and responding to actionable data analytics, and building of capability roadmaps. Develops, integrates, and manages the execution of integrated master plans, and schedules. Confronts issues, identifies risk/opportunities drives corrective actions, and interacts with multiple engineering disciplines, and functions.
This job requires learning and executing related processes, identifying, coordinating and implementing improvements to best enable team success. Must be a demonstrated self-starter with the ability to establish a project business rhythm for communicating with internal & external customers at all levels.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant will not require a secret clearance to begin employment, but must have the ability to obtain
Desired Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interpret data of various types (technical, process, financial) and create presentations that summarize the data in a clear and concise manner
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a high profile schedule driven environment
Bachelor or above Degree in an Engineering Technical Discipline
Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience leading teams
