Program Management Subcontract Staff

Manage major subsystems for Advanced Pilot Trainer (APT).
Within this role one will be deployed on-site at a major teammate or Supplier on T-50A. The position could be located in the U.S. or at an international Supplier location. Responsible with the coordination of performance to Purchase order requirements by Supplier TBD with the Buyer and Subcontract Program Manager in Fort Worth. Requirements include: hardware delivery, data requirements, software development. Develops methods of monitoring supplier performance and success. Reviewing supplier progress to milestones via in process reviews and reviewing supplier in house metrics, attending regular supplier internal status meetings.
Provide Subcontract Administration and program Integrated Product Team's (IPT) real time status as to supplier issues as well as provide recommendations to resolving the issue(s). Responsible for supporting and participating in meetings at supplier facilities such as design reviews, program management reviews, quality and production reviews and others as required. Will need to interface with supplier Program and Executive management as required to ensure LM interests are expressed as well as work out solutions. Coordinate with LM Buyer/SPM/ IPT's to resolve supplier initiated requests for assistance from LM Aero. Provide regular feedback to LM Procurement Manager as to supplier performance, personnel, management, facility issues. Regular feedback will be defined by manager and will be both verbal as well as written status reports. Will be viewed as a go to person with regard to working with this supplier. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills: -Experience with avionics systems is preferred. Engineering backgrounds will be considered but must have some Supplier Chain Mgmt experience. Active Security clearance preferred.
