Production Estimator

Description: As a member of the F-35 Production Estimating team, individual will develop, analyze and review Manufacturing labor, Tooling, Quality, and other Production Operations estimates for F-35 proposals. Requires an ability to perform estimate planning, collect and analyze historical labor data, perform regression and learning curve analysis, develop cost estimating relationships and cost estimate inputs. Primary assignments will be to assist the development of: (1) Air Vehicle touch labor lot-buy estimates; (2) Configuration Status Update (CSU) budgetary annual estimate; (3) various Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs). Must interface with Production Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing and Estimating organizations to understand technical requirements and pricing systems; prepare cost proposal and presentations for management review.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant will not require a secret clearance to begin employment, but will be submitted for a secret clearance afterwards.
Desired Skills: - Bachelors in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or Statistics preferred.
- Experience in cost tracking and estimate at completion (EAC) development preferred.
- Experience with SAP and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics systems such as Accounting Data Analysis and Reporting (ADAR), Manufacturing Earned Value Labor (MEVL), Shop Floor Manager (SFM), Product Data Management (PDM), Aeronautics Proposal Tool System (APTS), Production and Inventory Optimization System (PIOS) or similar systems.

- LMCO Operations background in Tooling, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years experience in estimator role or LMCO operations experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills; specifically to include Word, Excel spreadsheets and data analysis experience.
- Bachelors degree from accredited college or university.
