Production Control Associate
Description:Selected individual will become part of the Material Operations team in Palmdale and will join a select group of individuals who are responsible for providing support to one or more Palmdale programs.
Candidate will be responsible for controlling the flow of tools and consumables to the shop floor and deploying Automated Dispensing Units.
Must be able to analyze, evaluate and react to all issues and concerns that have the potential of adversely affecting manufacturing schedule.
Will attend / chair status meetings advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
Must be a self-starter, flexible, possess strong interpersonal skill and capable of managing multiple tasks
Must be a US Citizen; this position may require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, or other related technical field.
Must be a self starter, and possess strong interpersonal skills
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Good professional written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of SAP and Production Control.
Production Control/Shop floor control experience
Proficient in problem solving.
Experience working in a Union environment.
