Description:Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) SEMAC organization has an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional dedicated to the acquisition of test equipment hardware for multiple MFC programs and locations. The position will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on electrical test equipment hardware. Duties include:

Preparation of bid packages.

Analyze and evaluates proposals.

Select or recommends subcontractors.

Perform price analysis.

Conduct negotiations.

Prepare PO documentation and complete placement.

Coordinate invoice reconciliation and payment.

Negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts

Work with program and other areas of the business including risk management, resolution of contract issues and development of second sources.

Manage commodities with moderate complexity and high volume of purchase requisitions.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree at the Bachelor level or above

Experience with procurement within Defense industry

Working knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as LMAP and thorough knowledge of FAR / DFAR acquisition policies

Negotiation experience

Working knowledge of standard contract types
Desired Skills:
Three or more years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or one or more years with a master's degree

Commercial Item Determination - CIRB experience

Excellent verbal, written and organization skills

Self-starter and ability to work independently

Project management skills

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Advanced communication skills and a customer focus

Experience with sole source justifications
