Principal Electrical Engineer

Description:The selected candidate would be the Electrical Engineering Subject Matter Expert across various platforms in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business. As such the selected candidate would drive the electrical design on launching and missile systems for air, surface, undersea, and hypersonic warfare systems as well as ship platform design for multiple Surface Navy platforms. The selected Candidate will apply extensive technical expertise in the Electrical Engineering and related disciplines. Additionally, the candidate will guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role to achieve major organizational objectives. The selected candidate will represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product. Serves as organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs. The selected candidate will act as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications and Engineering execution status.
This position will help mentor, coach, and guide earlier career employees and help to build robust pipeline of electrical engineering talent and knowledge.
Degree in an Engineering field such as Electrical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering including a general knowledge in Math, Physics or other physical sciences.
An advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or closely related technical field is desired for this position.

Working Experience in Product Lifecycle and Transition to Production
Working Experience Leading Technical Organizations
Strong verbal and written communications skills

Staffing Experience (SME Input)
