Provides technical support for Radar and/or Sonar programs in the area of Power Supply design. Provides guidance in addition to timely problem resolution through root cause and corrective action techniques. Creates/modifies procedures and identifies opportunities for improved efficiencies. Performs simulation of Power Supply circuits. Works with test fixturing and tooling to improve workflow and reduce injuries.
Applicable experience includes electrical engineering, systems engineering, integration and test engineering, RF engineering, and electrical testing.
Desired Skills: PSPICE and/or LTSPICE tool Experience.
Power System Simulation and Modeling Experience -PSIM
AC/DC and DC/DC Converter Design Experience
Familiar with EMC and Electrical Safety Standards.
Knowledge of Analog Circuits, design and analysis.
Knowledge of Power Systems design including Linear and Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS).
Experience with Lab Equipment - O-Scopes, DVMs, etc.
Knowledge of PCB design.
Ability to obtain and hold a DOD Security clearance.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written/verbal skills
Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
Demonstrated ability to act independently
Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
