Portable Tool Repair Technician
Description: Portable Tool Repair Technician occupation requires the setup, analyze, design, maintenance, repair, modification, disassembly, assembly and dismantling of, pneumatic, cordless, electronic and programmable type tools as well calibration of new and existing torque tools.
Desired Skills: Must have working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electric, electronic, cordless tools. Must be able to determine new setups and parts required of setup and repair of various Pneumatic and Powerfeed motors using Power electronic Database and Microsoft products. Must be able to clearly read, Schematics and Process Standards. Must be able to diagnoses tool issues and determine parts required to setup or repair portable type tools.
Must have basic knowledge and understanding of the setup and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, electric, electronic or cordless tools. Must be able to read schematics and working knowledge of Microsoft products. Must be flexible to work different shift and overtime as needed. Must be trainable to legacy tools but also new tool technology. Must be able to clearly communicate with customers and vendors for tool requirements and repairs. Must be a team player.
