Description:Support the F35 Production to drive improvement initiatives of manufacturing processes. Will serve as the Project Engineer/Manager for cost improvement and span reduction initiatives. Will coordinate and collect cost-benefit-analysis and necessary documentation to build business cases to receive proper funding for implementing improvement initiatives. Will work closely with Manufacturing Engr, Industrial Engr, and Planning on improvement projects. Utilize Six Sigma tools to identify, implement and coordinate preventative actions to mitigate performance challenges.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
Experience with MS Office suite, including MS Project
- Knowledge of Project Management
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement
- Knowledge of Assembly EVMS Processes
- White Belt/PDCA Certification
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
