Numerical Control Programmer
Description: Will provide Numerical Control programming support utilizing Catia V5 and CGTech Vericut V8 software as required.
Will perform task with a thorough understanding of the numerical controlled programming process and associated technologies of post processors and machine tool controls.
Will provide NC programming support for the machining of metallic and non metallic materials, ply cutting and laser assisted lay-up.
A combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent to the degree requirement.
Case by case evaluation must occur.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located in a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills: Experience with the machining of metallic and non metallic materials.
Experience with the machining of hard metallic materials.
Experience with the machining of composite materials.
Experience with the (Fibersim) ply cutting and laser assisted lay-up.
Experience with machine theories/concepts, machine languages (G&M code programming).
Experience interpreting engineering drawing and blueprints.
Machine shop experience in set-up and running CNC machines.
Catia V5, CGTech Vericut and ICAM.
Microsoft Office Suite: Power Point, Excel and Word.
