NEXT Program: Software Engineer - Orlando, FL
Develop and maintain embedded software applications and/or desktop applications for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) products. Typical applications are software products related to image processing, target detection and tracking, guidance/ navigation/ control algorithms, system control, built-in test, and system communication. Development will be in C, C++, C#, and/or Ada. Familiarity with standard communication busses and protocols is helpful but not required. Assignment will provide training in the design, development, test, debug, and maintenance of software using MFC's CMMI Level 3 Product Development Process.
Master's Degree or higher from an accredited university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree.
Experience with embedded real-time development in C and C++ is required.
Experience in most phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including requirements analysis, design, coding, unit test, integration, and verification
Experience with Hardware-Software integration
GPA: 3.0 or higher
Experience with VxWorks and Linux
Experience generating and maintaining program software documentation
Experience with software configuration management
Familiarity with Visual Studio (i.e., Visual C++)
Excellent communication skills
