Mechanical Engineer Staff / Subsystems / Advanced Programs

Description: --Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program---SKUNK WORKS--

Cockpit Design and Integration Engineer. The candidate will work with the Airframe and Pilot IPTs to design, analyze, and integrate the cockpit controls, equipment and ejection systems for a new aircraft. Support layout and integration of cockpit equipment, instruments, and secondary structure. Work with Safety and requirements group to install and certify for use the ejection systems. Work with other disciplines and stakeholders to determine/accommodate system interfaces.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant must possess a Secret Security clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills: Experience with ejection seats.
Experience with canopy ejection systems.
Experience installing avionics or environmental controls (ECS) components.
Experience with integrating multiple vehicle subsystems.
Experience with tubing design and equipment installation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's or above degree in related engineering or science field.

-CATIA V5 Design experience.

-Cockpit equipment integration experience,

- Secret requiring an investigation the last 5 years.
