Mechanical Engineer Staff / Subsystems / Advanced Programs

LM ADP is looking for an experienced Subsystems Engineer to support the integration, maturation, and qualification of subsystems components for an air vehicle suite of subsystems. This person will work with the subsystems lead across multiple mechanical and electrical systems to coordinate integration efforts and tasks related to using existing aircraft equipment on a new air vehicle design. Systems include electrical power, hydraulics, fuel, ECS, and others. The candidate will work with system leads and suppliers to perform gap analysis of requirements and trade studies to develop acceptable solutions within the design, testing, and/or operation of the systems and components.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant must be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills: Experience with systems level trade studies.

Experience with requirements management and/or analysis.

Experience performing requirement s gap analysis.

Leadership of teams, especially high performing small teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-- Bachelor's or above degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

-- Experience from conceptual design through first flight of multiple aircraft subsystems, such as electrical power, hydraulics, fuel, Environmental Control Systems (ECS), landing gear, air data.
