Mechanical Engineer Staff / Subsystems / Advanced Programs

This position involves the mechanical integration of hydraulic and actuation (hydraulic and electric) systems. The candidate will work with the Hydraulic and Actuation IPTs to design, analyze, and integrate these and other air vehicle systems and architectures for a new aircraft design. Support initial sizing and layout of aircraft systems through detail design and production support using fundamental engineering principals and CATIA V5. Work with other disciplines and stakeholders to determine/accommodate system interfaces.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant must have a Secret Security Clearance with a Background investigation within the last five years and be able to obtain a Secret SAP/SAR Clearance.
Desired Skills: Experience with leading the design of actuated doors, landing gear, and other mechanisms.
Experience with electrical actuators.
Experience sizing hydraulic system components.
Experience with integrating vehicle subsystems.
Experience with tubing design and equipment installation.
Experience with other aircraft systems: Fuel, ECS, secondary/auxiliary power.
Bachelor's or above degree in related engineering or science field.
CATIA V5 Design experience.
Hydraulic and/or Actuation (electrical or hydraulic) design and integration experience.
