In this position you'll be working to research, design, analyze, and develop mechanical and propulsion components, assemblies and systems for Lockheed Martin Space products. This role will include participating in issue resolution, developing solutions to technical problems of varying complexity while assuring sound technical content and timely closure. As an engineer, you'll develop, review and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical analyses necessary to support product build and testing activities.

This is for positions in Littleton, CO, Highlands Ranch, CO, and Centennial, CO.
Basic Qualifications:
Completed degree in a Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering or similarly related program from an accredited college/university.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to obtain security clearance
Desired Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment
Understanding and ability to apply basic Mechanical Engineering principles, theories and concepts
Knowledge of Mechanical Design Principles including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Knowledge of mechanical modeling and analysis tools, such as CREO, Nastran, Thermal Desktop
Fundamental understanding of structures, mechanisms and materials
