Material & Process Engineer
Description: This position is for a materials & processes generalist engineer working in the Fort Worth Materials and Processes (M&P) Commons Services group. Primary program ties will be to the F-35 Program. Job responsibilities will include providing M&P support to ESH activities for the F-35 Program, including preparation of Hazardous Materials Analysis reports and Weapon Systems Hazardous Materials Analysis Reports, new material approval coordination through the LM Aero Hazardous Materials Management Board, tracking/execution of F-35 pollution prevention projects, tracking and completion of F-35 ESH Contract Deliverables in cooperation with the ESH Lead, and preparation of the materials/articles database supporting REACH reporting . In addition the position will require advising other M&P Engineers on hazardous materials requirement and evaluating new materials for hazardous components.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills: Experience working in Materials and Processes Engineering on Aeronautics Programs is a plus.

- Ability to work with and communicate with other Engineering disciplines.
- Experience with issues related to working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Ability to work individually and/or collaboratively on multiple concurrent projects.
BS Degree in Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited college.
2-3 years professional experience, and or no experience required with a related Masters or higher degree.
Must able to travel both domestic and internationally.
