Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control's (MFC) Pike County Operations site in Troy, AL is a multi-shift, manufacturing facility which integrates complex mechanical and electronic assemblies. The facility specializes in both low volume / high mix and high-volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing. Pike County Operations has a manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.

We are currently looking for an experienced professional in Troy, AL to work in the Production, Planning and Control Organization. This position will be responsible for daily coordination with production, process engineering, and program liaisons to status development and production builds as well as part availability. Daily communication with program planners is critical to ensure delivery of completed builds to support schedules.

Responsible for:

Planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions in support of research and development, final assembly production and test operations. These activities include maintaining production system integrity, inventory accuracy and driving optimization to minimize cost.

Coordinating with manufacturing, engineering, quality, program, and site stakeholders to provide shop floor control on make parts.

Coordinating with supply chain stakeholders to determine appropriate time phased plans for parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements.

Participating in change board process to coordinate changes to the BOM and impact to inventory and manufacturing processes with engineering.

The Locale:

Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters.

Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small-town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University.

Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a degree at the Bachelor level from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education. Position requires 6 years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Must have a final secret clearance prior to starting and be able to maintain a secret clearance.

Working knowledge / understanding of Material Resource Planning, Inventory Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems.

Demonstrated ability to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on multiple platforms (face-to-face, virtually, email, Skype, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to work well in both a team environment and alone.

Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.

Must have a valid driver's license.

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP and Apriso Work Management (MW) programs.

Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing operations experience.

Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.

Understanding of MRP / supply and demand management.
