Manufacturing Planner Intern

Description:This intern position will support the F35 Production Control Team and support the development of data analytic tools

The Production Operations Intern Program is intended to develop individuals capable of becoming productive members of a technical/engineering team within the Operations disciplines, such as Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Material Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Facilities Operations/Engineering. Selected candidates will participate in training opportunities in communication skills and professional development. Candidates for this position are selected while actively pursuing an Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations Management related bachelor's degree and assessed by management as possessing requisite skills and abilities for development.

Must be a US Citizen; this position may require a government security clearance.  This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Business Information Systems or related degree.
Desired Skills:
•Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

•Knowledge of formal problem solving methodologies, and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

•Desire to actively participate and support in production floor operations

•Strong Communication skills

•Attitude to engage and perform
