Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner Associate for a position in Ocala, FL. Candidate will be expected to gain a full understanding of all Ocala SAP and APECS software systems as they relate to Production Planning and Control (PP&C). This position requires that the selected candidate model personal excellence through responsibility and accountability for their actions and assigned task, demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
After formal training, the candidate will work directly with a seasoned planner to gain a full understanding of all aspects of PP&C. Duties include:
Coordinating with Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time-phased plan for procured parts.
Utilizing MRP reports, Buy Planners follow actions in the supply chain to ensure material is ordered and delivered to meet production requirements, the subsequent process of the supply chain. This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.
Understanding of Material Resource Planning (MRP).
Knowledge of Inventory Control.
Preferred degree disciplines include Production Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, etc
Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Work experience / internship in related discipline.
Previous leadership experiences.
Previous experience using SAP.
American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification.
Member of the Production & Operations Management Society.
Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated use of analytical skills to solve problems.
Ability to assess priorities and act with appropriate sense of urgency and multi-task to meet customer demands.
Ability to build effective relationships with customers and program managers, and co-workers.
