Manufacturing Planner Asc - Orlando, FL
Description: Works in the Production, Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler,Make,Buy or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.
Coordinates with Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time-phased plan for procured parts. Utilizing MRP reports, Follow actions in the supply chain to ensure material is ordered and delivered to meet production requirements, the subsequent process of the supply chain.
Coordinates with Manufacturing and Operations Management to determine appropriate lot sizing strategy for make assemblies, analyzes requirement and executes the MRP plan by releasing work orders, ensures implementation of engineering changes to assemblies, and provides timely status to ensure operating schedules are met.
Desired Skills: 3.0 GPA or above
SAP ERP experience
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, a represented workforce and internal and external customers.
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
Experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.
Bachelor's or Masters degree from an accredited university in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related degree.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance
Must have the ability to work second shift (2:00pm - 12:30am) after training is complete
