Manufacturing Planner

The Manufacturing Planner prepare and coordinate plans and schedules to communicate master schedule requirements. Generate reports and develop metrics to status performance to leadership. Identify issues and concerns, and evaluate impact to operations. Act as coordinator for hardware age management. Assist in the development of medium and long range forecasts. Interact with internal and external organizations such as engineering, procurement, finance and production. Work under general direction in answering what-if drills and special studies. Participate in process improvement activities in various functional areas. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for this role.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Industrial Engineering or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.

This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Supply Chain management principles, purchasing, procurement, delivery, reporting, analytics. Familiarity with scheduling software. Ability to extract data and develop metrics. High quality/error free output. Project management, schedule creation experience. Experience with SAP business tools. Strong interpersonal attention to detail and quality. Strong sense of follow-up and closure with Office applications, specifically Excel. Lean manufacturing, six-sigma experience.
